It is with deep sorrow that we remember Scott Garrett McKee, 41, of Bay Minette, who tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Baldwin County. The accident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Baldwin County 138, leaving family, friends, and the community heartbroken.
Scott was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Passat when it collided with a 2024 Nissan Frontier driven by 25-year-old Noel Diaz Alzolay of Spanish Fort. Following the initial impact, Scott’s vehicle struck a 2007 Chevrolet C1500 pickup driven by 61-year-old Gregory Jackson Cobb of Greenville. The Frontier then left the roadway, hitting a sign, an embankment, and a tree before coming to rest.
Troopers reported that Scott was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Cobb was injured and transported to USA Hospital in Mobile for treatment. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
Scott Garrett McKee will be remembered as a cherished member of his family and community. His passing is a tragic reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of safety on our roads.
We extend our deepest condolences to Scott’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family and friends find strength, comfort, and peace in the memories they hold of him.
