San Angelo, Texas — The San Angelo community is mourning the tragic loss of 21-year-old Steven Lake Tucker, who was killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon, November 2, at the intersection of U.S. 87 Northbound and FM 2105.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS), the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. when a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup, driven by a 62-year-old man from San Angelo, was traveling west on FM 2105. The driver reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign and entered the intersection, where his vehicle was struck by a 2002 Ford F-150, driven by a 19-year-old man, also from San Angelo.

Steven Lake Tucker, a passenger in the 2008 Ford, sustained fatal injuries in the collision. He was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene by Dr. Mavromaus, according to DPS officials.

Authorities confirmed that weather conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash. The incident is under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
