The community of Fostoria, Ohio, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 79-year-old Kenneth Goshe, who tragically lost his life in a pedestrian crash on the evening of Monday, November 3, 2025.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred at approximately 8:46 p.m. along State Route 635 near County Road 592 in Liberty Township, Seneca County. Kenneth was crossing the roadway from west to east when he was struck by a 2014 Chevy Impala, driven by 22-year-old Taylor Gerschutz of Alvada.
Despite immediate response from emergency personnel, Kenneth succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His body was later transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was officially pronounced deceased.
Kenneth’s passing has deeply affected his family, friends, and neighbors, who remember him as a kind-hearted and humble man with a quiet strength and warm spirit. Known for his generosity and love for his community, Kenneth was someone who always lent a helping hand and greeted others with a smile.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Seneca County Coroner’s Office, Bascom Fire and EMS, and John’s Towing, all responded to the scene and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
