The crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Jack Thomas Road and Patterson Lane. Despite the swift response from Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (HEMSI) and the efforts of first responders, Dezi was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene by Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill. Another individual was transported to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services, where they remain in stable condition.
