The community of Glens Falls is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 63-year-old Claudia Hargis-Grover, who tragically lost her life in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 87 near Exit 23 in Bethlehem on Saturday afternoon.
According to New York State Police, Claudia was driving northbound in her 2025 Chevrolet sedan when her vehicle was struck in a chain-reaction crash caused by another car traveling at high speed. Despite the immediate response from emergency crews, Claudia was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. Several others were injured and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
