The Shreveport community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 25-year-old Aundreya Griffin Anderson, who tragically lost her life in a shooting on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in the Ingleside neighborhood.

According to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office, Aundreya was fatally shot while sitting in a car with an acquaintance, traveling westbound at the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway around 4:15 p.m. She was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced deceased at 4:59 p.m.

Aundreya was identified through fingerprint comparison. Her death marks Shreveport’s 32nd homicide of 2025, and one of 37 in Caddo Parish so far this year.

Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing under the direction of the Shreveport Police Department, and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.

Friends, family, and loved ones are devastated by the sudden and senseless loss of a young woman described as kindhearted, full of life, and deeply loved by those who knew her. Her radiant smile and warm spirit touched everyone she met.

As the community grieves, many are calling for justice for Aundreya — a life gone far too soon, leaving behind a void that words cannot fill.

May her memory live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and may she rest in eternal peace.

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
