Shreveport, Louisiana — The Shreveport community is heartbroken following a tragic domestic-related incident that claimed the life of Armonii “Karlei Raí” Anderson and left a man injured Sunday afternoon.

Around 4:17 p.m., officers with the Shreveport Police Department and emergency crews responded to reports of a crash and possible shooting near Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a Nissan Altima that had crashed at the intersection. Inside were a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds, along with a small child who, thankfully, was not hurt.

Both adults were rushed to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, where Armonii Anderson, 26, was later pronounced dead from her injuries. The male victim remains in stable condition and is cooperating with investigators. Authorities believe the incident may have stemmed from a domestic dispute that escalated into gunfire before the vehicle crashed.

Police are continuing to review evidence and surveillance footage to determine the full sequence of events. At this time, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.

Armonii, known affectionately by loved ones as Karlei Raí, is being remembered as a bright, loving, and devoted mother whose life was cut far too short. Friends and family have expressed deep grief over her sudden passing, describing her as “a beautiful soul who brought light to everyone around her.”

As the community mourns this devastating loss, officials urge anyone with information to contact the Shreveport Police Department or Caddo Crime Stoppers.

Armonii’s memory will live on through her child, family, and all those who cherished her.
