It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Lareon Brown, age 26, who tragically lost her life during a shooting early Sunday morning, November 2, 2025, on 6th Street in Carrollton, Georgia.

According to the Carrollton Police Department, officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to reports of a fight that erupted into gunfire. When authorities arrived, they found three people had been shot. Sadly, Lareon was pronounced deceased at the scene, while two others were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries.

Lareon’s death has left her family, friends, and community heartbroken. Those who knew her describe her as a bright light — a kind, loving, and compassionate woman whose smile could lift anyone’s spirit. She was full of life and had dreams she was working hard to achieve. Her kindness and positivity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In the wake of this tragedy, loved ones have come together to honor Lareon’s memory  lighting candles, sharing memories, and praying for justice and healing. Her loss has left a void that can never be filled, but her love and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
