It is with heavy hearts that the communities of Crosby, Texas  mourn the tragic loss of Mark Brown, a beloved son, friend, and rider, who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 1960 at Moonshine Hill in the Humble/Atascocita area. The fatal incident occurred on the evening of October 31, 2025, in an active construction zone.

According to authorities, Brown was traveling through the area when he was involved in a collision. Despite the immediate response of emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving family, friends, and the community devastated by the sudden loss.

The situation became even more dangerous when another driver ignored a roadblock and drove the wrong way into the crash site. As deputies approached the vehicle, smoke poured from the car, and the driver was detained by authorities.
