WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities have released new details about the devastating Halloween night crash that claimed the lives of three teenagers and left another critically injured in Warrington Township.
Police confirmed that 18-year-old Aziz Umidovich Amonov, of the Feasterville/Trevose area, was the front-seat passenger in the Toyota Camry involved in the fatal collision on Bristol Road Friday night.
The other three occupants of the vehicle were juveniles, and their names are being withheld due to their ages. According to police, the 15-year-old driver and a 16-year-old rear-seat passenger both died from their injuries. A 14-year-old passenger remains hospitalized in critical condition and underwent surgery on Saturday at a Philadelphia hospital.
Authorities also confirmed that two of the victims attended Neshaminy High School — one a freshman and the other a senior. School officials have been notified, and grief counseling services will be made available to students and staff beginning Monday.
The Ford Explorer involved in the collision was driven by an adult who was not injured, police said. Investigators noted that the crash was not head-on but rather a side-impact collision, resulting in severe damage to the passenger side of the Camry.
The Warrington Township Police Department, in coordination with local school districts, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
“Our hearts are broken for the families, friends, and school communities affected by this tragic event,” police said in a statement. “We extend our deepest condolences and will continue to support them during this unimaginable time.”
This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
