SEALE, Ala. — The Seale community is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of 75-year-old Linda H. Bloszies, who died Wednesday evening after her vehicle left the roadway and overturned on Lato Road in Russell County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Bloszies was driving a 2015 Honda CR-Z near Harvest Drive, about 13 miles south of Phenix City, when her vehicle struck a culvert and overturned at approximately 4:15 p.m. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m. by Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr., who confirmed her passing was due to blunt force trauma injuries.
No autopsy will be performed, though blood toxicology testing was conducted as part of the ongoing investigation. The ALEA Highway Patrol Division and Russell County Coroner’s Office are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Linda Bloszies was a cherished member of the Seale community, and her sudden passing has left friends, family, and neighbors heartbroken. Her life and memory are being honored by those who knew her, and her loss serves as a painful reminder of the fragility of life.
